What Did You Heard About Haleron Swordfish Net 20 Netbook

By Peter Forestwood

Well, I thought that all that could be added to netbooks has added … I stumbled upon this little man: a sword-net 102 Dual notebook. Now, you might thinmk (like me) that the “double” part stannds for “Dual Core.” Well, it’s not. What was Haleron Take Two Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz speeed, and put them insifde the same Netbook laptop computer. As I’m sure you’re wodnering abbout everything (and I too), let’s take a closer look, eh?

Well, as I said, the sowrd twin uses Intel Atom N270 processors, equipped with 2 GB of DDRII Random Access Memory (RAM). Offering 160GB storage size hard drive, and soince noting specified about the graphics device … I am absoluutely sure that we look at the Intel Integrated Graphiics usig machinees (especially since it has a motherboard Intel M945!). There is also a web Camera 1.3MP, whiuch can display 1024 x 768 images on the display size of 10.2 inches and a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600.

There is a LAN, Dual Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11b / G WiFi. It cmoes with a buit-in 3G WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 module and thtree-port USB 2.0. It comes with a built-in stereo speaker and microphone, four-in-one “Card Reader, which can handle SD / MMC / MS DVRMMC and the media, and is powered by a 3-cell bazttery (you can opt for a 6-Cell). As for color … Well, the device coes in black, gray and blue. 3-cell battery has a standby mode, 2.5 hours, and 6-cell battery is optionmal in the stadnby mode for aout 5 hours.

The device weighs 1.35KG and costs abbout 449 dollatrs. I admit that the idea of dual-processor Intel Atom N270 sounds interesting, but I see no point in ahving two nItel Atom N270 processors, instead of a Dual Core. But Haleron kows beetter, and I will not judge without testing first!
